i've always been fascinated by how the great forces of the universe - wind, water, fire and time - can change one thing into another thing that may end up being radically different from the original

i've watched this process play out with an object found on our daily walks, a child's toy, accidentally dropped during a likely stressful family event, based on where it was found

it will eventually disappear entirely
